Our expertise

Semi-finished and finished products

For finished or semi-finished products, EDELTAMP can advise and support you, according to your development strategy, for optimized quality production.

Semi-finished and finished products

A guarantee of operational and strategic excellence

To meet the most diverse needs in France and Europe, EDELTAMP is developing its expertise in a wide range of sectors, including capital goods, agriculture, paramedical, construction, leisure and gardening, industry, materials handling, etc.

Injection excellence

EDELTAMP has a production unit located in Heyrieux, in the Lyon area of the Rhône-Alpes region. This 5,500 m² facility is equipped to manufacture identical, uniform series of plastic parts, thanks to its mastery of all organizational and technical processes.

Plastic injection molding

Equipped with injection presses from 60 to 1,800 tons, these machines are suitable for production volumes ranging from small to large series. They can manufacture injected plastic parts from 0.1 kg to 15 kg. EDELTAMP masters most plastic injection techniques.

Some thermoplastics require high-performance behavioral characteristics to fulfill their function properly. To improve the mechanical and physical properties of polymers, we master the production of thermoplastics filled with aluminum powder, carbon powder or fiber reinforcements.

In addition to a wide range of high-added-value thermoplastics, we also master the art of injection molding using bio-sourced and recycled plastics.

Bi-material
Two successive moldings of 2 different thermoplastic materials to produce one plastic part.
Compression
Pressing a precise quantity of plastic into a plastic part.
Sequential
Injection of molten plastic into the mold through several orifices at different times.
Gas
Plastic molding process combining conventional injection molding and the application of pressurized inert gas to compact the plastic material against the mold walls.
Overmolding
Injection of an additional layer of plastic onto a molded part.
In Mold decoration
Single-phase injection and decoration process for decorating plastic parts during injection moulding.

The perceived value of finishing

EDELTAMP carries out most finishing and decoration operations on injected plastic parts and sub-assemblies.

Finishes and decorations

In order to deliver a "finished" part with the right surface finish, the company's EDELTAMP finishing division has expertise in the finishing of industrial parts up to the finished product stage. This expertise includes processes such as painting, marking, inserting, wiring and surface treatment.

Thanks to ongoing sourcing of new-generation industrial paints and coatings, EDELTAMP offers its customers improved mechanical and functional performance of parts, as well as enhanced aesthetic value and product durability.

Pad printing (1 to 4 colors)
Pad printing on the object to be decorated.
Screen printing
Stencil printing between the ink and the object to be decorated.
Chrome plating
Electroplating a thin layer of chrome onto the object to be decorated.
Liquid paint
Lacquering to embellish and protect the PVC or polypro object to be decorated.
Epoxy and polyester powder
Coating the surface of the object to be decorated with thermosetting epoxy polymers.

At the crossroads of plastics and electronics

A discipline halfway between plastics processing and electronics, plastronics aims to bring intelligence to parts. EDELTAMP meets the growing needs for parts maintenance, miniaturization, ergonomics, weight reduction and reliability of electronic devices in many sectors.

Plastronics, the intelligent function

Connecting two parts of the same object opens up a wide range of intelligent functional possibilities in all everyday objects.

Sensors for agricultural equipment, pressure sensors for home automation, aeronautics, medicine, transport, etc. EDELTAMP has strengthened its technological expertise by combining plastics processing and electronics.

From one-off parts to large-scale production runs, meeting complex specifications and strict standards, EDELTAMP approaches plastronics with a modular integration approach for more efficient maintenance and recycling.

Assembly (finished or semi-finished products)Assembly (finished or semi-finished products)

Assembly of complex finished or semi-finished components

Reducing tooling costs, ensuring dismantlability, creating new functions, using assembly on a permanent or temporary basis, EDELTAMP puts its assembly expertise at the service of the most complex projects.

Assembling, the best connections

Efficiency in industrial production is a major issue for our customers. EDELTAMP 's manufacturing skills and experience enable us to anticipate functional requirements for the assembly of parts and sub-assemblies, and to optimize their costs throughout the product life-cycle.

In its own workshop, or as a sheltered workshop, EDELTAMP uses a variety of assembly techniques, carefully selected according to the specifics of the initial request and the plastic materials used.

Bonded assembly
Thermosetting adhesive.
Permanent mechanical assembly
Mounting by riveting, clips, etc.
Temporary mechanical assembly
Screws, nuts, etc.
Ultrasonic welding assembly
Welding parts.
Multi-material assembly
Riveting, crimping, etc.
Chemical assembly
Epoxies and plastics produced by evaporation of a solvent or hardening of a binder with heat, pressure or time.
